Mike and Dana Ball

Mike is the Director of the world’s largest local church military ministry.  For 35 years Tabernacle Baptist Church of Lebanon, MO, has been privileged to host soldiers from Fort Leonard Wood, MO, to a “Free Day Away” ministry that reaches approximately 375 service members on any given Sunday of the year.  Bro Mike and a host of church workers will pick them up from the base, orchestrate an abundance of activities throughout the afternoon, supply phones for those who desire to call home, provide a delicious meal, and finish the day with a powerful sermon on the Gospel of Christ.  Hundreds make professions of faith in Christ every month in this very fruitful ministry.  These are the young service men and women who will soon be headed to the war zones as they complete their specialty schools. Please pray for Bro. Mike, the host of faithful workers at Tabernacle Baptist Church and for the necessary funds to keep the ministry growing and going for souls in uniform!

Scott and Rachael Dutton

Scott has been called into fulltime ministry to reach the Marines and Sailors at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA.  He served four years in the Marine Corps and faithfully ministered in his local church to military members and families these many years.  God is using him to establish a Military Service Center for Christ to reach those in uniform on Camp Pendleton with the Gospel of Christ. Please pray for and Scott and Rachael as they continue to raise support to do the work God has called them to do at one of the largest Marine Corps bases in the world.

Bob and Becky Ingram

The Ingrams opened the Freedom House Christian Service Center in July 2002. Located just outside the “Old Main Gate” of Fort Benning, (Columbus, GA), the center is a true “Home Away From Home” for both the single soldier and those separated from their families for training.  It is literally a haven of rest, relaxation and Christian fellowship.  They are prepared to house as many as 25 men who may need to get out of the barracks over a weekend and they also offer regular Bible studies in the Infantry Basic Training area.  Please pray for Bob and Becky as the base population (and thus their ministry) grows.  Pray for the great harvest of souls God has planned and provided for them to take.  Pray for wisdom, direction and the financial resources necessary to reach Fort Benning with the Gospel of Christ.

After completing Bible College, he pastored Calvary Baptist Church in Flora, IL for seven years and now serves on the staff of Faith Baptist Church as Administrative Director of Worldwide Military Baptist Missions and Director of the Scott AFB Military Service Center. Please pray for them as they evangelize and disciple the young service members stationed on the base.

Mark and Holly Thornton

Mark has just retired from the Marine Corps after faithfully serving our country in the Corps for the past 20 years.  He and his wife Holly and three daughters are currently serving our Lord at Faith Baptist Church in Yuma, Arizona.  He and his wife Holly have a heart for single Marines and young families who need a “Home Away from Home” while serving their God and country in the military services.  Mark and Holly have opened their home for many Marines while stationed in Iwakuni, Japan, at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California and now in Yuma.  Please pray for the Thorntons as they transition to retirement and establish a military outreach to the singles and families aboard MCAS Yuma.

Jack and Peggy Wellman

Jack Wellman moved his family to Gulfport, MS in January 1988 to establish the Gulfport Christian Servicemen's Center.  They minister the gospel of Christ to the sailors aboard the base who are assigned to the Naval Construction Battalion Center and also reach the Navy, Air Force, and Army personnel who are attending the Naval Construction Training Center.  The Wellmans have been reaching, teaching, loving, leading and feeding men and women from all services on this expanding Naval Base for almost 20 years!  Please pray for the Wellmans as they continue to reach our military personnel and raise needed support for this productive ministry.
